2021 NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS - Space limited!!!
March 10-15, 2021 - Moab, Utah
Spend
a fantastic week exploring arches, canyons, ancient rock art, the
Colorado River, iconic movie and TV locations, and some of the best
light for
landscape photography in the world. Early march will have snow-capped La Sal peaks for great backgrounds, and there may even be fresh snow on the red rocks to add another layer to fabulous photos!
May 3-8, 2021 - Tropic, Utah
Photograph the wondrous hoodoos of Bryce Canyon and explore the unique slot
canyons of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument on this 6 day
photo workshop in Southern Utah, home to some of the best light for
landscape
photography in the world.
June 8-11 - Moab, Utah Spend 3 nights photographing the Milky Way
against a wide variety of fascinating rock formations, including the largest
collection of natural arches in the world. Arches National Park has recently been
designated as an official International Dark Sky Park. Come learn how to photograph the night skies in a world class location.
Sept
20-24, 2021 - Estes Park, Colorado
Spend
5 days in a variety of locations around the beautiful Rocky Mountains during a
photographer’s favorite time of the year - Autumn! Locations
will include, but not limited to: aspen forests, waterfalls, forest streams, lakes and
mountain overlooks. The
last two weeks of September is generally the time for peak color in Northern
Colorado and the peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park.
Oct 18-22, 2021 - Blanding, Utah Spend 5 days in Utah's newest National Monument exploring canyons for cliff dwellings, rock art, and other ancient Native American structures. Learn a little archaeology while capturing images of these photogenic ancestral pueblos. This will be an active workshop, with several miles of hiking each day.
Nov, 2021 - Dates TBD - Moab, Utah Spend a fantastic week exploring Arches, canyons, ancient rock art, the
Colorado River, iconic movie and TV locations, and some of the best
light for landscape photography in the world. Early October is peak fall
color for the aspen trees in the La Sal Mountains near Moab, and the
area is famous for its dark skies for night photography! This is my most popular workshop, so book soon!
Workshop Cancellation Policy - More than 120 days in advance - full deposit will be returned
- 60-120 days in advance - deposit can be used for a later workshop
- 30-60 days in advance - 50% refund. If we manage to fill all the workshop slots, then the remaining 50% can be applied toward future workshops
- COVID-19 - if a COVID-19 related travel ban or quarantine directly affect you, or if the workshop is cancelled due to travel restrictions - 100% refund (or apply 50% toward a future workshop with a 10% discount)

tours, designed for individuals or small groups. We design our tours to
match your experience level, physical abilities, and interests. Input from you helps make the tour exactly
what you want! We have permits to lead tours in
Arches, Canyonlands and Rocky Mountain National Parks, but can visit many other lesser-known
locations in and around Moab, Utah and Estes Park, Colorado.
