color for the cotonwood trees in the canyons near Moab, and the

fantastic weekend exploring Arches, canyons, ancient rock art, the
Colorado River,
iconic movie and TV locations, and some of the best light for landscape
photography in the world. The weather is cool and lovely in early
March, with the snow-capped LaSal mountain peaks making a great
background, and if we are lucky, we'll get a dusting of snow on the red rocks!

against a wide variety of fascinating rock formations, including the largest
collection of natural arches in the world. Arches National Park has recently been

Sept 24-28, 2023 - Estes Park, Colorado
Spend 5 days in a variety of
locations around the beautiful Rocky Mountains during a photographer’s favorite
time of the year - Autumn! The last two weeks of September is generally the
time for peak color in Northern Colorado and the peaks of Rocky Mountain
National Park. We will explore the Wild Basin, Alberta Falls, Dream and Bear Lakes, Trail Ridge Road, and other lovely Autumn locations inside and outside
the park, high in the Rocky Mountains.
Workshop Cancellation Policy - More than 120 days in advance - full deposit will be returned
- 60-120 days in advance - deposit can be used for a later workshop
- 30-60 days in advance - 50% refund. If we manage to fill all the workshop slots, then the remaining 50% can be applied toward future workshops
- COVID-19 - if a COVID-19 related travel ban or quarantine directly affect you, or if the workshop is cancelled due to travel restrictions - 100% refund (or apply 50% toward a future workshop with a 10% discount)

match your experience level, physical abilities, and interests. Input from you helps make the tour exactly
what you want! We have permits to lead tours in
Arches, Canyonlands and Rocky Mountain National Parks, but can visit many other lesser-known
locations in and around Moab, Utah and Estes Park, Colorado.
